Arthritis anon dog I'm just posting this here to echo everyone else and because I'm a narcissist who wants to be on this page but especially if your dog is bigger, being on regular meds will make a huge difference in her quality of life! If she's already in enough pain to avoid activities like jumping in and out of the car/going up and down stairs, she probably is too advanced for just supplements (although Cosequin tablets are awesome and you should start giving them just to keep stuff from progressing) but Adequan is an absolute miracle drug! It's just an injection into their joints to help stabilize them, and I have seen it work miracles in horses and dogs. It's not a narcotic or pain med, although your vet might prescribe carprofen/Rimadyl (or something similar) as well either for flare ups or as a maintenance dose. Usually when dogs hit a certain age the risks for liver/kidney issues are outweighed by the benefits for the drugs. But dogs with arthritis (even advanced) can live for many years with it with good medication management and very high quality of life, so don't be discouraged! And anyone else who has a dog, I recommend Cosequin very highly and yes I know I sound like I'm pushing pharma but THIS SHIT WORKS.

My dog also has arthritis and fish oils or coconut oil help too! I can't afford the injections but she has metacam.

I think it's the drive to pair up one-on-one for everything in RP that's also killing it. Like if we could be more collaborative and everyone wasn't so sensitive and needed to know just ONE person liked them the most, maybe we'd have more of that comm feel again, but probably not.

Sometimes I comment someone looking for what appears to be a SL they've been trying to fill for a while, and then they take literally days to reply every time to every comment, and I wonder if I'm just being trolled. Like, I wanted to make you happy random person and now you're making me anxious.

It's so hard for me to pre-plan writing heavy sls because I like writing but if the writing chemistry isn't there it feels torturous to get through a scene, even if it's not them being a bad writer it's just a lack of chemistry.

Do you ever try to build chemistry over time? I ask because it's been my experience that very rarely is writing chemistry instant. My best ever slp and I laugh about how awkward our first scene is to read back on because it took us time to develop our writing chemistry and develop our characters together, and I think about how much great writing we never would've done if either of us had flaked on that first scene like so many rpers do when it's not instant chemistry.

Yes! If you have the action saved to your computer, you hit "Open" and navigate to the action and it should automatically load. It might give you a popup? But then to activate it you just go to Window > Actions and it should pop the window up and you can use it from there!
