Genuine ask: I actually would love to play an m in a het psl that's snarky, cute, plotty, worldbuild-focused and full of UST. BUT I would like to fade to black when it comes to smut. What are the chances I could get a line like this?

I don't think you'll have any problems with this at all. Just be upfront about it.

I want to say you'd have no issues but as someone who also prefers SLs exactly like this and hasn't had anything last any meaningful amount of time, I might be totally wrong

I am like this and have no issues, although my fading to black isn't an abrupt cut so much as a poetic transition! Most writers in my gpsl likewise declined smut in their preferences and it strikes me as the default in psls, although maybe I've just been lucky in that regard. I don't think that it's an unconventional ask at all, especially when you are specifically matching with writers who prioritise plot and worldbuilding.
