People will always care because they like to imagine an aesthetically pleasing couple. This happens in every server, and it's normal to have wanted pbs/fcs.

So am I and as the OP I assure you it changes nothing, it’s something that varies from person to person more so than something that’s tied to any specific thing but again to be fair I started in fandom where this idea would mean you’d be really bored because some people use 20 year old pictures.

I realize this and yet it’s disheartening to have someone interested in the premise of a line until they find out who the pb is because they don’t find them personally attractive. Conversely, why can't you change your PB if you only care about doing the line? If you're not finding your PB attractive, as you said, it wouldn't matter.

If you pick someone that you see fits the character you want to write I don’t understand changing it to please someone else but to be very fair the kind of mindset I’m talking about made me want the line with someone else that didn’t care. I don’t pb problematic people, I like diversity and sometimes it’s not easy to just find someone else that would work as well as the original pb.
