I have been excited about Oppenheimer since news broke about it because of the cast, but I'm also not surprised but really disappointed/mad that none of it addresses the Japanese victims of this man's weapon nor the Hispano residents they fucking displaced to build Los Alamos that they also let work there on the beryllium where they gave the white workers PPE and the Hispano workers NONE causing many of them to die from exposure. White men have been a fucking plague on humanity at every turn without fail.

You can't distract people from white men.

I'll be honest, did you honestly expect them to give proper repsenation or a good re-telling after seeing the cast or finding out it was based on that bomb?

I haven't seen it yet, but I assumed the movie was about Oppenheimer being a modern day monster for bringing this shit into the world and not being a hero, right?

I wrote off seeing that film from the trailer because something told me it wasn't going to do it right and I'd be watching a glamourization of white men once again.
