I wouldn't be mad about the OOC communication itself as much as it sucks to lose a potential. But that little addition of being seen as a backup grinds my gears.

Yeah. Knowing not to waste my time and not having to question why someone would pull away is actually great. I wish that kind of transparency was more common. But the implication that they basically expect me to still be waiting around for the line while they frolic about? Hell no.

I don't mind OOC transparency at all but, OP correct me if I'm wrong, it sounds like they let someone down easy prematurely when they weren't even in a SL yet, so I would think it's a little presumptuous or patronizing, but that's just me.
