While I don't believe in heavily curating or sanitizing content beyond banning a few topics and using tws, I wish a place that filtered people out through examples rather than admitting everyone with the proper aesthetics still existed.

The problem is that banned topics are never listed.

They do exist but not on IJ. IJ has lowered the bar so low it's on the floor and this is the permanent state of RPing here now. That bar will never be picked back up at this point no matter how much you guys dream and wish it would be.

I've never been a fan of samples. Most people's were out of date or stolen. And I doubt mods read them. But I miss having a bio or even an IC entry before joining so they could tell something about the character and writing. It's been a long time since i modded though that might not work anymore.
