I’ve had a complete opposite experience. I came into Lifestyle knowing no one ooc and I ended up with a bunch of lines and friendships and interesting stuff. It’s a comm that has been around for two years and retained a handful of members for most of that time, so of course there are periods when it ebbs and flows, and of course there are a handful of couples only there to psl with each other, but if you come in and you demonstrate that you’re not going to dip out if you don’t have a romantic sl with the pb you want within a week, and if you reach our first and say things more interesting than “laundry I’m exhausted” and if you comment people’s entries… basically if you come into the comm and are willing to do the work and not wait to be flocked to or get things handed to you, you’ll do fine. It is the one comm I have found where people consistently match the energy they get.
