My sister is a few years younger than me but we have a similar personality and she absolutely refuses to take any advice for dealing with situations where I've been in her exact situation and she has a know-it-all approach to life and argues that her way is the most logical and then whatever she chooses to do about a situation never ends up working out and she doesn't understand why.

That anon with the sister reminds me a friend and I didn't want to be long winded up there. But basically the reason people do not take advice is because: People are stubborn and desperately need to feel in control of their lives and decisions. It's not that they don't trust you or don't want advice, it's that the experience is their own and we all have a natural desire to navigate things on our own and figure out life in a way we feel we have control over. I have friends who do the same shit over and over, ignore advice until one day it's THEIR idea to do something which I told them they should do 3 years ago, but now that it's their idea, they will try it. Don't waste your time on advice unless someone ACTUALLY asks for it, and be as supportive as you can without stressing yourself out.

Lately I've been sitting in Eugenia Cooley's lives on TikTok and I feel so bad for her not just for the obvious reason but most of the people on her live tells her she's a horrible person and bullies her. Last night she did a stream for her bday and everyone just hurled insults at her and I actually cried because no matter what she's going through no one deserves to be bullied 24/7. I'm going to ask her if she needs a chat moderator to at least stop people trolling and insulting her.

Not the OP and I do agree with you but Ariana has a pattern of doing this. It's how she got her husband, Pete, Sean, and Mac. And yes, men are trash they were the ones with the relationships, Ariana did pursue these men knowing they were in relationships.
