I'm someone who struggles with depression and a side effect of that is having very poor personal hygiene, but for the last few days I've made myself brush my hair, wash my face and brush my teeth and it's truly incredible how just those few small things can improve mental health and it's giving me energy to do other household things I've fallen behind on lately.
