Full disclosure that I'm probably obviously autistic, but I want some advice on social rules, so please be kind.

If somebody comments you apologizing that they haven't replied to a scene yet and saying that they'll reply in the morning, are you supposed to reply to that kind of pic comment every time? Somebody did this to me a couple weeks ago and I replied saying np take your time. But then after my next reply, they did it again. I never replied, I guess because it felt kind of redundant to keep saying np take your time and I don't need that level of in depth communication after a day with no scene reply, but now I ran into them while I'm looking for a new sl and they recognized me. They're saying they assumed I flaked on the sl because I didn't reply to that ooc comment. I don't get it. If there was a question or request for info in the comment, I'd understand, but I don't know why that comment needed any response. I was just waiting patiently for a scene reply. I'd even finished writing my character bio while waiting, so it's not like there was complete inactivity on my end.
