There's a city next to me that we hardly went to when I was a kid because everyone would be like oh my god it's just such a long drive, it's like a 90 minute drive and the traffic is horrible and it's hard to remember how to get there, but it's literally 35 minutes away and if you don't want to get on the freeway there are a ton of backroads that take you directly there, and the traffic is normal for a 4 highway with a lot of stores and restaurants so I wonder why all adults made this place seem like a treacherous hellscape. I've been working there since since 2009 and you couldn't ask for an easier or more beautiful commute.
