Oppenheimer was not at all what I thought it would be and was very very boring. And I think that is what's making everyone go see it along with the Barbie hype and the consequent weeks of it's run will make less money. Nolan should have maybe quietly released this at festivals as a passion project, not a box office banner title. Cause everyone was really expecting more about the bomb itself, and the stress of everyone creating it, the fact that it didn't event mention the criticality incidents that killed scientists in literal days after exposure, this is the stuff that's interesting about Los Alamos. Oppenheimer himself just seemed very dull and weak willed for everything except fame and physics.
